Adding a delicacy from day-to-day archives

New Cube is also one of my self-training projects. The design is straight to the point. With the cube-shaped handle, no residue remains on the underside handle, which is invisible in other general tap handles. So, New Cube is hygienic, especially while Covid is going around.

Since it has a simple form already, there is not much to work around it. When you add details to the shape, it stands out more. In terms of the details, I focused on the reflections on how it catches the light depending on the folded steel plate. The design was inspired by a crossed pattern I saw in a museum, which you can refer to a first picture below.

I made some variations on the faucet edges and applied a draft angle on the overall shape to create a light reflection. Furthermore, this feature is not only efficient for moulding but also helps water flow down easily.
